Title Sequence - Font/Colour

As well as having the titles in the right order the font and colour is as important. The font and colour can have a great effect in the opening as it also establishes the genre of the film.  For example, if I have ‘Twentieth Century Fox Presents’ in a fancy font in the colour pink and purple

It connotes to the audience that this film is aimed for girls who really  enjoy a real romantic movie, this type of font and colour would normally be used in chick flick movies. However, if I change the font and the colour it connotes a different genre.

This font and colour indicates to the audience that they are watching a serious and more mature film. This comes to show me that I should be really aware of the type of font and colour that am adding to my film opening. In order to convey to the audience of the right film genre.
